Custom business software
The applications a company opens in the morning and closes at night: records, jobs, fleets, deadlines, documents. Software where domain logic matters more than visual flourish.
Full-stack developer — freelance contractor
Business software, control systems and integrations. Since 2022 I have written software that runs in production, from the database to the interface — with .NET, WPF, Angular and Node.

What I do
The applications a company opens in the morning and closes at night: records, jobs, fleets, deadlines, documents. Software where domain logic matters more than visual flourish.
Interfaces in React, Angular and TypeScript — including the unglamorous part: untangling a front-end that grew too fast, without rewriting it from scratch.
Services in .NET and Node: data models, integration with existing systems, authentication, deployment. The part nobody sees, holding up everything else.
OCR, data extraction from documents, workflows that remove repetitive manual work. AI where it solves a concrete problem, not as decoration.
Selected work
The first two projects are mine and I can tell the whole story. The rest is client work under confidentiality: no client names, no screenshots, no source code. What follows is the problem, my role and the stack — the technical detail I am happy to go through in a call.
Personal project
A Linux head unit replacing a car's factory radio without losing any of its controls: volume knob, steering-wheel buttons and dashboard display keep working, because the system talks directly to the car's CAN bus. React interface served by a .NET backend on the Raspberry Pi, kiosk boot managed by systemd.
My own product, in production
A multi-tenant platform turning a photo or PDF of a menu into a digital one: OCR and a language model read dishes, descriptions and prices, and the operator only corrects what the machine gets wrong. Nothing is retyped by hand, not even when the menu changes. It runs in production today, serving three active tenants.
Rail sector — client work
In a control room an operator watches dozens of video surveillance streams across several monitors, replays an alarm and talks to help points on the platform. A crash means losing sight of the site, so stability matters more than anything else. Lead developer on the client application.
Software product — client work
A service that issues and validates software licences without breaking installations already deployed at customer sites, and activates on-premise installations with no pre-installed credentials. Most of the service is mine, from the application domain through to the production cluster.
Airport infrastructure — team work
An airport runs dozens of systems from different vendors — runway lighting, building automation, baggage handling, security — each with its own protocol. Bringing them into a single supervision layer takes one driver each, and they have to hold up around the clock.
From 2022 to today, across industrial products, control systems and custom business software. Before that, a team project running over a year: worth mentioning because working in a team is something you learn there, not later.
Stack
No percentage bars: either I have used it on a real project, or it is not on this list.
How I work
I invoice as a self-employed professional: no hiring cost, no headcount commitment. Contract or engagement letter before anything starts, always.
I work 100% remotely, with clients in Italy and abroad. European time zone: full overlap with Europe, wide overlap with the UK and the Middle East.
I prefer short written updates to long calls. We meet when there is a decision to make, not to recap what already happened.
Code in your repository, dependencies declared, instructions to run it. If I disappear tomorrow, the project carries on without me.
Contact
If you have a project with nobody on it, a business system to rebuild, or a team to reinforce for a few months, send me a couple of lines about what you need. I reply within one working day.
